About Dr. Allaa
Dr. Allaa is a Dental Surgeon and Implantologist at Bourgeois Dental Clinic in Dubai with more than 20 years of dental experience in Germany. His clinical scope includes microscope-assisted endodontics, dental implantology, aesthetic dentistry, prosthetic treatment, restorative dentistry, periodontology and minimally invasive dental care.
Dr. Allaa completed his dental studies at the University of Bonn in Germany and practised dentistry in Germany for more than two decades. During his career, he also spent more than five years working as the chief physician of a private dental clinic, where he managed a wide range of routine and complex dental cases.
Experienced German-Trained Dentist in Dubai
Dr. Allaa combines extensive clinical experience with structured diagnosis and personalised treatment planning. His approach considers the condition of the teeth, gums, dental pulp, supporting bone, bite, existing restorations, medical history and the patient’s treatment priorities.
His dental care may include:
- General dental examinations and treatment planning
- Restorative dentistry and modern filling therapy
- Microscope-assisted root-canal treatment
- Dental implant assessment and treatment
- Aesthetic and prosthetic dentistry
- Periodontal assessment and gum care
- Preventive dentistry and prophylaxis
- Minimally invasive dental treatment
- Laser-assisted dental procedures when clinically appropriate
- Supportive dental care for anxious patients
Microscope-Assisted Endodontics
One of Dr. Allaa’s main areas of clinical focus is microscope-assisted endodontics. Dental magnification and illumination may help the dentist identify fine root-canal anatomy, locate additional canals and manage selected complex endodontic cases with greater visual precision.
Microscope-assisted treatment may be considered for:
- Primary root-canal treatment
- Complex or narrow root canals
- Previously treated teeth that remain symptomatic
- Teeth with difficult-to-locate canal anatomy
- Removal or management of selected obstructions
- Assessment of cracks or internal tooth structure
- Endodontic retreatment planning
The use of a dental microscope does not guarantee that every tooth can be preserved. The outcome depends on root anatomy, infection, fractures, remaining tooth structure, periodontal support and the ability to restore the tooth appropriately.
Root-Canal Treatment and Endodontic Care
Root-canal treatment may be recommended when the dental pulp becomes irreversibly inflamed or infected because of deep decay, cracks, trauma, leaking restorations or previous dental procedures.
Possible symptoms include:
- Severe or spontaneous tooth pain
- Prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold
- Pain when biting
- Swelling or pus
- Tooth discolouration
- Infection around the root
- Pain from a previously root-treated tooth
Dr. Allaa assesses whether the tooth may benefit from root-canal treatment, retreatment, restoration, monitoring, referral or extraction.
Dental Implantology
Dr. Allaa developed his implantology experience through an implant curriculum at the University of Cologne. He provides dental implant assessment and treatment planning for suitable patients with one or more missing teeth.
Dental implant planning may involve assessment of:
- Available bone quantity and quality
- Gum and periodontal health
- Missing-tooth position
- Neighbouring teeth
- Bite forces
- Medical history
- Smoking and healing-related factors
- Restorative and aesthetic requirements
Depending on the clinical findings, treatment may include a single dental implant, multiple implants, implant-supported crowns or bridges, or implant treatment as part of a broader oral-rehabilitation plan.
Aesthetic Dentistry
Dr. Allaa has completed advanced training in aesthetic dentistry and provides treatment planning for patients who want to improve the colour, shape, proportions or appearance of their teeth.
Aesthetic treatment may include:
- Composite restorations
- Repair of chipped or worn teeth
- Replacement of ageing or discoloured fillings
- Dental veneers
- Dental crowns
- Smile assessment
- Minimally invasive aesthetic treatment
The recommended option depends on enamel condition, existing restorations, gum health, tooth alignment, bite forces and the patient’s expectations.
Prosthetic Dentistry and CAD/CAM Technology
Dr. Allaa has completed advanced training in prosthetic dentistry and CAD/CAM dental technology. Digital dental workflows may support the planning and fabrication of selected crowns, bridges, restorations and prosthetic treatments.
Prosthetic treatment may be considered for:
- Broken or structurally weakened teeth
- Heavily restored teeth
- Missing teeth
- Worn teeth
- Failing crowns or bridges
- Implant-supported restorations
- Functional and aesthetic rehabilitation
The suitability of a digitally designed restoration depends on the tooth, material, bite, gum condition and restorative requirements.
Modern Filling Therapy
Dr. Allaa provides restorative treatment for teeth affected by decay, fractures, wear or failing fillings. Modern filling therapy may use tooth-coloured restorative materials to rebuild selected teeth while preserving healthy tooth structure when clinically possible.
The choice between a direct filling, inlay, onlay or crown depends on:
- The size of the damaged area
- The amount of remaining healthy tooth structure
- The position of the tooth
- Bite forces
- Existing cracks
- The condition of the dental pulp
Periodontal Care and Prophylaxis
Dr. Allaa’s training also includes periodontology and preventive dentistry. Gum assessment and professional preventive care may help identify inflammation, plaque retention, bleeding, gum pockets and other risk factors before they progress.
Preventive care may include:
- Dental examinations
- Gum-health assessment
- Professional teeth cleaning
- Oral-hygiene guidance
- Preventive maintenance of restorations and implants
- Individual recall planning
Dental and Jaw Misalignment Assessment
Dr. Allaa has training in the assessment and treatment of selected dental and jaw-alignment concerns. These cases may involve tooth position, spacing, bite relationships, dental wear or functional symptoms.
Patients with complex orthodontic or skeletal concerns may require coordination or referral to an orthodontist or another appropriate clinician. Assessment does not automatically mean that every alignment concern can be treated through general dental care.
Minimally Invasive Dental Techniques
When clinically appropriate, Dr. Allaa considers treatment options designed to preserve healthy tooth structure. Minimally invasive care may include preventive treatment, adhesive restorations, conservative access techniques, magnification and limited tooth preparation.
The least invasive treatment is not always sufficient. Teeth with extensive decay, infection, fractures or structural weakness may require more comprehensive care.
Laser Therapy in Dentistry
Laser-assisted techniques may be used for selected dental and gum procedures when clinically appropriate. The suitability of laser therapy depends on the diagnosis, treatment objective, tissue condition and available alternatives.
Laser treatment is not a replacement for all conventional dental procedures and does not guarantee faster healing or a specific result.
Dental Care for Anxious Patients
Dr. Allaa provides supportive care for patients who feel anxious about dental treatment. His approach includes clear explanations, gradual treatment planning and consideration of the patient’s comfort and ability to tolerate each procedure.
Patients are encouraged to discuss previous dental experiences, specific fears and concerns before treatment begins so that the appointment can be planned appropriately.
Personalised Dental Treatment Planning
Dr. Allaa develops treatment plans according to the patient’s diagnosis, oral-health needs, medical history, expectations and long-term maintenance requirements.
Complex dental treatment may require several stages, temporary restorations, diagnostic imaging and coordination between restorative, endodontic, implant, periodontal or orthodontic care.
